I’ve been hunting for a good Buttercream for years, never finding one I was really sold on. If the baking site said “THE BEST!!” I’d try it and often end up disappointed.

Too salty. Too soft. Too fluffy. Too sweet. Not sweet enough. You get the idea.
A friend was celebrating a huge victory, and I made her a cake. She had mentioned that she loves Buttercream, so I needed a winner. I went through my stack of lackluster frosting and wasn’t satisfied. Then, I thought, what about Martha Stewart? Is hers easy? And tasty?
The short answer? YES AND YES!! look no further, this is the one. The long answer? This frosting comes together quickly, easily, takes color well, and is soooo tasty.
If you’d like to try it, follow THIS link. Full disclosure, it’s not Martha’s.
As the article says, this “American-style vanilla buttercream from chef Billy Reece of Billy’s Bakery in NYC requires just four ingredients and comes together in just about as many minutes. Smooth, fluffy, and creamy, it’s ideal for all kinds of cakes, from cupcakes to multi-layered confections. “
Try it and let me know what you think!
