The Only Buttercream Frosting I’ll Ever Need

I’ve been hunting for a good Buttercream for years, never finding one I was really sold on. If the baking site said “THE BEST!!” I’d try it and often end up disappointed.

Works great on cupcakes!

Too salty. Too soft. Too fluffy. Too sweet. Not sweet enough. You get the idea.

A friend was celebrating a huge victory, and I made her a cake. She had mentioned that she loves Buttercream, so I needed a winner. I went through my stack of lackluster frosting and wasn’t satisfied. Then, I thought, what about Martha Stewart? Is hers easy? And tasty?

The short answer? YES AND YES!! look no further, this is the one. The long answer? This frosting comes together quickly, easily, takes color well, and is soooo tasty.

Next time, if using on a cake, I’ll add more powder sugar to make it hold better. Lesson learned!
