Nutella Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
So apparently, not every one likes bacon. (As I sit here, eating the leftover bacon not used in #15…) I made these for the holiday weekend, too, for those that maybe wouldn’t be excited about the bacon ones.
I didn’t follow the recipe because I was short on time (and who has two different types of flour?!) and even though I have made Nutella Stuffed Cookies for the challenge, this has different measurements and are bars so I am counting these. And since I get to make the rules, I guess that’s that.
I also didn’t chill the FULL 24 – 48 hours. Like I said, I was short on time.
These are so gooey and decadent. The different types of chips really help even out the sweetness, along with the salt. I nearly forgot to sprinkle the salt, but I am so glad I did it.
I will make these again! And, I will make the cookie again (without the Nutella, and following the instructions) soon and count it towards my 52. I can see that is has promise. But chilling for 96hours? Man, how long can a girl wait for cookies? I mean, right?
